Vulcan 1TR65A-2 Deep Fryer Information
The Vulcan 1TR65A freestanding gas fryer measures 21 inches wide by 301⁄8 inches deep by 471⁄8 inches tall and provides a comfortable 361⁄4-inch working height. Both its cabinet and frypot are made of durable, rust-resistant stainless steel to prolong its service life in fast-paced back-of-house areas.
To ease repositioning for cleaning or maintenance, it’s fitted with four 6-inch casters—two of which can be locked in place. Its tank measures 191⁄2 inches wide by 14 inches deep and can accommodate 70 pounds of oil. The included twin fryer baskets simplify lowering foods into the pot and raising them after they’re fried. Their plastic-coated handles lessen the risk of heat transfer for user safety.
As part of the PowerFry3™ collection, the Vulcan 1TR65A commercial gas fryer is ideal for medium- to high-volume operations. For precise temperature adjustment, the solid-state analog knob control located behind the cabinet door can be set from 200 to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Its SoftStart™ ignition system outputs 40,000 BTUs per hour to warm oil upon startup, and the unit can maintain idle temperatures by outputting 5,083 BTUs per hour to enhance energy efficiency. To yield 72 percent thermal efficiency and 60 percent cooking efficiency, this fryer features a ThreePass™ heat transfer system that uniformly distributes heat within the oil to reduce recovery time.
This mechanism also ensures the flue doesn’t exceed temperatures hotter than 750 degrees Fahrenheit at a maximum production rate. To simplify cleaning, it’s built with a 11⁄4-inch port ball-type drain valve and includes a tank brush and clean-out rod.
