Vulcan VCH8 Cook and Hold Oven Information
Cook, reheat, and hold food in this all-in-one Vulcan VCH8 cook and hold oven. Great for schools, healthcare facilities, and hotels, this cook and hold oven can hold (8) 18″ x 26″ sheet pans on 3″ centers or (16) 12″ x 20″ x 2 1/2″ steam table pans. Plus, it comes with 3 pairs of removable universal tray slides and 2 wire pan cooking grids. With a smaller footprint, you can easily and efficiently prepare meals and keep them at a proper serving temperature for safe service without losing valuable space. You can even use this unit to rethermalize your previously plated meals for increased efficiency at smaller banquets and events.
Designed with knob-style controls, this unit is capable of cooking temperatures up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and holding temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The controls can be programmed with 9 custom programs for ease-of-use. Featuring a digital LED display, the time, hold temperature, cook temperature, and cabinet temperature are all clearly visible throughout the cooking or holding process.
This fully insulated oven features a single compartment and is designed to create flavorful results thanks to the low-speed air circulation and low-temperature cooking. The low-speed fan provides even heat distribution for consistent cooking, which also results in a natural browning of meat for a visually appealing, caramelized product.
Stainless steel construction adds long-lasting durability, and an integrated steel frame provides structure and stability. This oven is fitted with a magnetic action door for a secure seal, while a heavy-duty hinge withstands constant opening and closing. For increased mobility, 4 heavy-duty 5″ casters are supplied, including two swivel casters with brakes and two rigid casters. This item requires a 208/240V electrical connection.

Packaging Equipment
L&D Appliance will package the items you purchase for free. This will be strapping the item to a wooden pallet, installing cardboard or cardboard corners and shrink wrapping the product.
Warranty of Products
All Vulcan and Wolf equipment are purchased as-is-where-is and do not carry the factory warranty. L&D Appliance does offer a 10-day warranty after the product has been installed. The installation needs to be by a professional that can set-up and install the equipment properly. Installation receipt and date will need to be provided for installed equipment for L&D Appliance to honor the 10-day warranty. Parts will be provided by L&D Appliance along with your local tech support for repairs.
Returns
Buyer has 15-days to return an item if they are not satisfied or purchased accidentally, the buyer is responsible for crating and shipping the equipment back to our warehouse in SC. Once the equipment has been inspected, L&D Appliance will process a refund less any damage, missing component cost, initial shipping cost (actual cost of original shipment even on free shipping promotion) and a 15% restock fee.
Delivery Inspection Required
Insure to inspect delivery for any significant damage caused by the freight carriers. If any major damage, please contact Alan 828-527-2241 before driver leaves. If severe damage, refuse delivery. If slight damage, insure driver notes damage before leaving. The is critical, because without documentation the freight company will not accept a claim for the damage and the item delivered will now be the responsibility of the recipient for repairs.
